Hi! My name is Chris Boudreau and I have more than a decade of residential construction experience that has solidified my knowledge of all the systems in your home. I have built and renovated thousands of decks, bathrooms, basements, roofs and almost everything in between.
I was raised in Ottawa and started working in a variety of residential construction and renovation services towards the end of high school. I then went on an adventure to Vancouver for a few years where I worked in the telecommunications industry as a Project Manager with an Engineering consulting firm. My role included conducting audits and inspections on new and existing infrastructure in order to compile reports for engineers and clients.
While this management and inspection experience was invaluable to my career, I realized that residential construction and home inspection was my true passion. In 2020 I went back to school and completed my Certified Home Inspector program, graduating with honours.
In 2021 my family and I moved back to Ottawa and I decided to move away from telecommunications and now work full time conducting home inspections for a local custom home builder. This job expands my knowledge base daily and has solidified my understanding of Tarion guidelines.
The best part of inspecting homes is that no two homes are identical, even if built by the same builder, and therefore there is always variety in my job. I pride myself on continued education as construction techniques and technologies evolve so that I can best support you.
When I’m not working as a Home Inspector, you can find me spending time with my two young kids and wife, taking my dogs on an adventure, golfing, kayaking and always building something new. I love trivia and reading about a wide variety of subjects.
I will always inspect your home or future home as if it was my own. I’m honest, thorough and will always look out for your best interests. Whether the issue is as minor as a loose shower handle or as serious as an improperly vented gas furnace, I will share my knowledge with you as I believe a Home Inspection is a necessary component to owning a home.
